The Women's Business Council - Southwest (WBCS) announced that after 17 years in Arlington, it made the strategic decision to relocate its offices to Las Colinas. The organization's new regional headquarters will be in the MacArthur Center II building, Suite 220, at 5605 North MacArthur Boulevard, Irving, Texas. WBCS is planning to move in early December.

WBCS was represented in this transaction by Eliza Solender of Solender/Hall. The landlord was represented by Matt Hurlbut of Transwestern. The long-term lease is for 4,242 square feet.

"After more than 17 years in Arlington, WBCS made the strategic decision to move to Las Colinas for a few key reasons," said Debbie Hurst, president of WBCS. "Not only will this new location improve ease of access for our members who come from a four-state region--central and north Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico--but it will also enable us to, for the first time, hold membership meetings in the same location as our offices. We are excited about this move and believe it will really enhance our ability to serve our members."

Eliza Solender, president of Solender/Hall, Inc., added, "I have been privileged to support WBCS for a long time, beginning with the move to their current location in Arlington. Their new office represents an important move for the organization as it is in a fabulous location in a building that has the amenities to enable it to provide programs and services far beyond what they are currently offering. As their broker and a proud WBCS member, I am thrilled with this move."

"We are excited to add WBCS to a great list of tenants in MacArthur Center II," said Hurlbut. "After some improvements to customize the space, we look forward to welcoming WBCS to the property in December."
