The Las Colinas Association is rolling out a major benefit to those currently working from home with free outdoor workspace. Texas Lottery Plaza® at Toyota Music Factory will transform into an open-air office on Thursday, October 8th from 9 am-5 pm. Using a mix of functional lounge furniture and top-of-the-line desks from Vari, workspaces will be situated eight feet apart allowing for a safe, worry-free collaborative experience.
Reservations are required with a morning or afternoon option for attendees. No matter the time of day, the perks will be plentiful with secure Wi-Fi powered by Verizon, complimentary breakfast from Nosh and Bottle, workday yoga practices with YogaSix, live music, as well as office swag and refreshments available throughout the day.
Opportunities and programming will also be available to those who have been professionally displaced due to the pandemic. Certified speaker, Felicia Johnson, will lead a conversation and Q&A session on Reinventing your Career During a Pandemic. Individuals looking to update their portfolios are invited to secure one of the limited professional headshot appointments taking place at Office al Fresco. Reservations can be made at lascolinas.org/office.
Following CDC guidelines, all attendees will be required to wear a face mask and maintain six feet of distance from others when not seated at their reserved space. Workspaces and restrooms will be sanitized between each use. Those experiencing any COVID-19 or flu symptoms or recovering from an illness should not attend the event.
