Irving-based Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB) has named Tamera Fenske as its chief supply chain officer, the company announced in a news release.

Effective Sept. 9, Fenske will be responsible for the company’s procurement, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, safety and sustainability divisions. She will report to chairman and CEO Mike Hsu and become a member of the executive leadership team.

"Tamera's proven leadership in supply chain and business transformation make her the right leader for our world-class supply chain operation," Hsu said in the release. "I'm looking forward to her leadership as we continue to maximize the full potential of our global manufacturing footprint to drive our growth strategy for long-term value creation."

Before joining Kimberly-Clark, Fenske served as SVP of manufacturing and supply chain for Minnesota-based 3M Company. She also spent time with Ohio-based Marathon Ashland Petroleum and Michigan-based Dow Chemical Company.
