A sized-down version of Irving’s annual Turkey Trot is planned for Thanksgiving Day.

The Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce held a panel discussion on Wednesday, Nov. 11, about the inequalities in education and strategies which might address those concerns.

The Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) is a national organization whose members are mothers and their high school-age sons. The group’s mission is to assist, serve and support those who are in need in the community, develop leadership skills and promote mother-son relationships. Locally, the Irving Hawks’ chapter of YMSL at Cistercian High School has partnered with Keep Irving Beautiful (KIB) for several years in a variety of projects.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop, founded in 2003 near the Texas Christian University campus, has moved its corporate headquarters from Fort Worth to Las Colinas.
