Shortly after announcing its first chief R&D officer, Kimberly-Clark has named Paula Ramos its new chief strategy officer.
Effective March 15, Ramos will lead the company’s global enterprise strategy. She was most recently a partner at McKinsey, where she worked with a range of large consumer goods companies. She also led its global consumer health practice.
The company noted that she is the first Latina to serve on its executive team. She will report to Mike Hsu, Kimberly-Clark chairman and CEO.
“Paula’s diverse and deep experience in the consumer goods industry, particularly in driving agility-led growth initiatives and commercial performance, will provide Kimberly-Clark with sharp focus as we continue to accelerate growth,” said Hsu. “She will be a great addition to our global leadership team.”
