Business Equipment Firm Lands at DFW Airport with Shipping Hub

Another major tenant is eyeing a new distribution hub near DFW International Airport.

Pitney Bowes, the century-old business equipment firm, is planning a large shipping hub just north of the airport.

Pitney Bowes plans to lease almost 200,000 square feet of industrial space on the east side of the airport at Bush Turnpike at Belt Line Road in Irving, according to planning documents filed with the state.

The new distribution center is in the works in Perot Development’s DFW Park 161 business park.

Pitney Bowes’ $24 million hub would be in the Logistics Center 11 building and is being designed by O’Brien Architects.

With 11,000 workers worldwide, Pitney Bowes provides its clients with e-commerce fulfillment, shipping, office mailing, and presort services and equipment.
