Valencia Hotel Group’s Court Hotels Give Back To Local Communities Through Pet-Friendly Programming

Valencia Hotel Group’s collection of retro-inspired, court-style hotels including Texican Court in Irving, TX, Lone Star Court in Austin, TX, Cavalry Court in College Station, TX, and the newly opened Cotton Court in Lubbock, TX, celebrated the arrival of spring with philanthropy-focused happy hour programming tailored for individuals and their four-legged friends.

Throughout the months of March and April, the Texas court properties hosted Barks & Brews, a pet-friendly happy hour with dog treats and discounted beers on the restaurant patios and throughout the spacious courtyards – complete with outdoor fire pits, lawn games and more. The Valencia Hotel Group took a percentage of sales from beverages sold and donated the money back to their communities by partnering with animal-focused nonprofit organizations in each city.

Barks & Brews raised over $2,000 in just 2 months and will give the funds to select nonprofits throughout the state over the next few weeks. The beneficiaries for Barks & Brews include: DFW Humane Society, Haven Animal Care Shelter, Aggieland Humane Society and Austin Humane Society.

“One of our core values at Valencia Hotel Group is connecting our hotels to the communities where we are built,” said Amy Trench, Corporate Director of Brand Marketing and PR. “Our hotels have a proven ability to give back through special events and promotions including Barks & Brews.”
