Twenty-two public companies headquartered in North Texas earned spots on this year’s Fortune 500 ranking of the nation’s biggest revenue-generating businesses.
McKesson, the Irving-based pharmaceuticals distributor that played a key role in moving vaccine supplies across the country, surpassed perennial leader Exxon Mobil as the highest-ranking local company on the list. McKesson is now the seventh-largest U.S. company.
Seven other companies call Irving-Las Colinas home,. The ranking of Irving-based companies are:
