Irving-Based Hormone Company CEO On Advocating For More Women’s Health Research

Irving-based health company Biote CEO Terry Weber said the organization’s growth goals are tied to educating more people about women’s health.

“This is just a beginning topic,” Weber said. “We’re excited to grow in North Texas and get the education out there, so more people can understand how to talk about symptoms, what their options are and educating both patients and providers.”

Biote is a hormone optimization company that offers patients personalized hormone therapy and clinical-grade nutraceuticals. The company also partners with more than 4,700 medical providers across the nation to educate practitioners on the use of hormones and supplements in health treatments.

Biote was recently listed as one of the fastest-growing women-owned or -led companies by the Women Presidents’ Organization and ranked 31. In 2016, Biote saw $53 million in revenue and $116 million in 2020, according to the Women Presidents’ Organization.

Weber has served as CEO for numerous companies and before joining Biote in 2019, she was the CEO of Amen Clinics Inc.
