As COVID-19 cases continue to climb in Dallas County due in part to the omicron variant, so does demand for testing.
Thursday saw 6,310 new cases reported in Dallas County, making it the highest single-day total here since the pandemic began in March 2020.
To cope with that demand, Dallas County Health and Human Services has opened several new testing sites throughout the county. Testing is free to the public, and hours and appointment availability vary at each site.
