Bojangles Adding More Franchised and Corporate-Owned Locations in Texas

Bojangles is expanding its presence in North Texas.

The food brand has signed five multi-unit agreements and plans to build 30-corporate locations to open about 50 restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

“As we are continuing the expansion in Texas, it’s like putting together a puzzle piece,” Bojangles chief growth officer Jose Costa said. “You start with a territory in Dallas, and then you try to continuously expand and fill out the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Then you’re doing that with a couple of cities at a time, so Dallas was our number one choice, followed by Houston, San Antonio and Austin.”

Bojangles is partnering with three franchisees to develop locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, SAT Restaurant Group LLC, Zenith USA Investments and TXBO Group Inc.

SAT Restaurant Group will be building three locations in Irving, Arlington and Mesquite, and Zenith USA Investments will open three restaurants in Duncanville, DeSoto and Cedar Hill. TXBO Group is developing five restaurants in Collin County, including Plano, McKinney and Allen.
