Plano-based Hilti North America has signed a long-term lease for two buildings at the Bison Grove Business Park in Lewisville in the DFW Airport submarket, according to a news release.
Hilti North America is a subsidiary of Hilti, a global supplier for the construction and energy industries. The company leased two buildings totaling 485,000 square feet of available distribution and office-warehouse space. Building 3 will serve as Hilti’s Dallas distribution center, and Building 4 will have additional office space and other uses.
Hilti North America headquarters will remain in Legacy Tower in Plano. According to the company, it had to lease additional space because of growth over the last few years to more than its original three floors on 9, 10 and 11. Building 4 in Lewisville will also allow Hilti to depart that additional space in Legacy Tower while keeping its original three floors.
Construction on Bison Grove Business Park is underway and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2022.
The company will occupy Buildings 3 and 4 on the campus to accommodate its growing workforce and expanding space requirements.
