Where to Find Juneteenth Celebrations in 2022

Celebrate the first anniversary of the Juneteenth National Independence Day. Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19 and recognizes the emancipation of all enslaved peoples in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865 — when the last of enslaved peoples in the US were declared free.
