The new Batteries Plus location is owned and operated by local residents and entrepreneurs Michael and Keena Luckett II . Michael, a former battery supply chain executive, and Keena, a former retail product director and buyer, now share the title of full-time business owners. After working for over 25 years in the supply chain and retail industries, Michael and Keena decided to take a step back in order to evaluate their next venture. After combining their knowledge and experience of retail and batteries to provide North Irving with the products and services available at Batteries Plus, the couple hopes to bring a newfound knowledge of technology to students and other members of the community with their new store.
