After honoring Veterans Day, Nov. 11, Irving-Las Colinas residents can take part in a Unite For Troops Veterans Day Celebration the day after.
Donations and volunteers are needed for the Nov. 12 event, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Porter’s Army Navy Store, 600 E. Irving Blvd.
The event returns after a three-year break, but the goal remains the same: supporting service members worldwide by making care packages of essential or most-requested items.
