Tennessee-based retailer Popshelf has leased eight more locations in the DFW area for a total of more than 110,000 square feet, according to a news release.
According to the release, the retailer is locating its stores in Class A centers with strong tenant mixes. The stores on average are around 10,000 square feet in size.
Dallas-based Weitzman represents Popshelf in North Texas with the team of Senior Vice President Gretchen Miller and Assistant Vice President Scott Smith.
Popshelf is owned by the same company that operates Dollar General stores and is aimed at wealthier, suburban shoppers. The company says it now plans to open approximately 1,000 stores by the end of the 2025 fiscal year. It currently has 10 stores in the state of Texas, according to its website.
