Irving-based technology enterprise NEC Corporation of America has appointed Chris Jackson as its new president and CEO, the company announced on Wednesday. He will begin the new role on April 1.
Jackson succeeds Masahiro Ikeno, who was previously appointed to the position in 2017. Ikeno was with NEC for over 35 years.
“I have great confidence in Chris to continue the positive trajectory we have built at NEC America over the last five-plus years,” Ikeno said in a prepared statement. “He is a proven leader with a terrific vision for the business and the region.”
