Irving will celebrate the Fourth of July next month with a parade, live music and fireworks.
A community parade will wind through the city’s Heritage District with floats and custom vehicles. The parade begins at 9 a.m.

A reception with live music and free watermelon will follow the parade at Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St.
In the evening, the city will host live music, food vendors, a kids’ area and fireworks at Levy Event Plaza, 501 E. Las Colinas Blvd. The party begins at 6 p.m.
