Irving wants to know how small and home-based businesses are faring.
The city is asking business owners to complete an online survey, and results will help city leaders develop programs to address the business community’s needs, the city says on its website.
The survey asks owners to predict how their businesses will change over the next couple of years; to identify obstacles, like cost of labor or restrictive regulations; and to consider what the city could do to help, such as providing access to capital or offering technical assistance.
