Pizza joint Zalat is coming to Irving.
Zalat’s newest location will only serve takeout or delivery through third-party apps.
This is the 14th location for the restaurant, which originally opened in 2015 in Dallas and now has spots in Frisco, Plano and Arlington.
Zalat uses fresh ingredients, such as Roma tomatoes and basil in the sauce, and the pizza dough is made from scratch, the restaurant said in a press release. Pizzas are cooked in old-school deck ovens.
The menu offers some traditional pizza toppings, such as Pepperoni Masterclass and The Zealot, which comes with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, mushrooms and more. Customers can also choose pizzas with names such as Nashville Hot Chicken and Pickles, Pho Shizzle, Elote and Loaded Notato.
“We are eager to offer a more convenient spot for our fans living in the Irving area who have been driving to surrounding cities such as Addison or one of our Dallas locations to get their Zalat fix,” CEO and founder Khanh Nguyen said in a press release.
