As the third-leading city in Texas for foreign business investment, Irving-Las Colinas is truly a global gateway. We offer international companies a LOCAL ADDRESS with GLOBAL ACCESS with our close proximity – just minutes away – from two international airports: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field. More than 150 foreign-owned companies have offices located in Irving-Las Colinas, with their global headquarters in countries including Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Switzerland and the UK.

In addition, Irving has a strong focus on international business partnerships. The Chamber, in partnership with the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC), established the International Trade Development and Assistance Center (ITDAC, or the “Center”).The Center’s mission is to facilitate communication of business information and assistance between companies in Irving-Las Colinas and the international community.

The Center focuses on international business development. Initially, Mexico was the primary focus for international development as Texas’s number one trading partner, and the Center works in partnership with the USMCOC to leverage bi-national business networks with the USMCOC’s 18 chapters throughout the U.S. and Mexico, and its activities with high-level public sector officials in both countries. Today, Irving’s initiative expand to include markets throughout Asia and Europe.
