Brad Watson, Senior Director of Community Affairs at Vistra, a Fortune 500 retail electricity and power generation company, has been chosen to lead the 5-Star Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, beginning October 1, 2023. Watson has served on the chamber’s Board for four years and is Chairman of the Economic Development Advisory Board, which advises the Irving Economic Development Partnership on corporate recruitment and strategic planning.
Watson oversees Vistra’s community relations with local governments, chambers of commerce, and community groups, and Vistra’s Corporate Giving program. Prior to his joining Vistra, Watson was a well known television journalist with WFAA-TV in the Dallas-Fort Worth market for 34 years, and news anchor for the ABC-affiliated station’s top-rated newscast for eight years.
